The Downwind Pilots Association (DPA) is a group of Long Island based pilots and aviation enthusiasts who share their passion for flying through social, educational, and community service activities.   The Mid Island Pilot Club was established June, 1996 by the Mid Island Air Service and a group of pilots and student pilots passionate about aviation. Our desire is to fly to destinations that allow us to share our love of aviation with each other and with other pilots we meet along the way.
